Learn and grow activity totes
During the summer of 2014, I worked at Interfaith Food Bank. One of my responsibilities during my time there was to develop and create a program called "Learn and Grow Activity Totes." These totes were created for use by teachers and child and youth leaders. The totes may be used on-site at Interfaith Food Bank or off-site at the borrower's location. Each of the totes includes a lesson plan, materials needed to complete activities, and a USB flashdrive which contains pre and post lesson materials.
By the end of the summer, I had completed nine totes. Below are pictures of each of the totes and all of their contents. The lesson plan included in each tote outlines activities related to the topic. It also lists curriculum connections for the tote. Many of these totes are directly related to elementary science units and would be perfect introductory or culminating activities!
I sincerely hope that these totes are well used by the schools and other child and youth organizations in and around Lethbridge. They are an excellent resource for educators and leaders to use.
